You're invited to an end of year picnic in the park. Please BYO food, drink and either a chair or picnic rug. There is free street parking all around the edges of the park and outside the Bowls Club. Consider car pooling with others as parking can be tight. Tram 59 stops corner of Queens Park and Pascoe Vale Rd (stop number 35).

Bushwalking Victoria (BWV)  is conducting a day-walk leader training event for all aspiring leaders and for those who may wish to refresh their skills  The training is run in a relaxed and friendly environment  by a team of excellent trainers who will assist and guide participants to develop and hone their leadership skills. Topics covered include mapping and navigation, risk management, preparing and conducting the walk, incident management and leadership skills.
