SUMMARY:Dandenong Ranges Walk
DESCRIPTION:The ferny gullies and tall mountain ash trees provide a much co
 oler walking environment in summer and still within striking distance of t
 he city.&nbsp\; This walk starts (and ends) at Grants Picnic Ground in the
  Dandenong Ranges.&nbsp\; This walk is all on walking tracks and once away
  from the road\, it is hard to believe that suburban Melbourne is nearby.&
 nbsp\; Along the walk we will have a chance to view Sherbrooke Falls and h
 opefully see lyrebrids as well as the many other bird species that frequen
 t this area.&nbsp\; Being the Dandenong Ranges therre are a couple of hill
 s to navigate.&nbsp\; Parts of the track are likley to be muddy if there h
 as been recent rain\, but overall this is a very pleasant walk to kick off
  the 2023&nbsp\; walking season.
 Suitable for Bobs and non-Bobs alike!
