SUMMARY:Darley Circuit
DESCRIPTION:Darley is a suburb of Bacchus Marsh\, to the North of the Freew
 ay. The Lerderderg River runs along the bottom of the valley\, and there i
 s hilly terrain on the north-western edge\, heading towards the Lerderderg
  State Park. This loop walk has quite a bit of level walking along the riv
 er\, but also a 200m climb/descent in the middle reaches to add a bit of c
 ardio workout. Total distance 14 -15 km\, generally good foot tracks and s
 ome suburban streets. Some very good lookouts at the top of the climb - af
 ter the aptly named \"1000+ steps\".
 Meet at or before 9.30 am\, in Fitz
 roy St\, Darley\, beside Darley Park. There's a long strip of angle parkin
 g there that should be free. There are also toilets in Darley Park.
