SUMMARY:Eastern Ramble 4 - Deep Creek to Heidelberg
DESCRIPTION:
 Catch the 8:15am 906 Bus (towards Warrandyte) from Lonsdale 
 Street beside the QV Square near Swanston Street. We get off the bus on He
 idelberg/Warrandyte Road near Beasley’s Nursery at Deep Creek Reserve.

  
 Description:&nbsp\;&nbsp\; We start from the bus stop and walk north a
 long the Mullum Mullum Creek trail for about 4kms were we join the Yarra r
 iver and continue along the Main Yarra trail to Warringal Parklands\, then
  along Burgundy Street to Heidelberg Station.&nbsp\; There is some hard-su
 rface walking\, but it’s mostly gravel and we’ll be walking on some na
 rrow tracks off the main trail.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Walking shoes or boots are r
 ecommended but there are no steep hills\, so poles are not necessary.&nbsp
 \;&nbsp\; Toilets are only available at Melbourne Central (before the bus 
 ride) and at Warringal Parklands which is near the end of the walk.&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\; Return trains from Heidelberg station are at about 20-minute inter
 vals\, or bus 903 to Essendon\, or bus 513 to Glenroy.
