DESCRIPTION:The Metcalfe Nature Conservation Reserve is a 20-minute drive n
 orth from Kyneton in Victoria and is a hidden pocket of bushland amidst fa
 rmlands.&nbsp\; Evidence of gold mining can be seen throughout this area a
 nd during spring the bush will be bountiful with spring wildflowers
 The 
 walk will commence from a parking area off the Goldfields Road about 200 m
  north from the intersection with Morgans Road (on the left hand side - he
 ading north).&nbsp\; A short section on the road before turning onto an ol
 d four wheel drive track where we will explore some mining remnants along 
 the way.
 The walk consists of both on track and off track sections throu
 gh open gullies and ridge tops.&nbsp\; Even though off track\, the walk sh
 oule be Bob friendly with only one short steep downhill section.&nbsp\; Ga
 iters and poles are recommended
