DESCRIPTION:This is a middle of the winter walk and we need something speci
 al to mark the occasion so why not have a brisk invigorating walk around t
 he pleasant little Westbreen Creek \, a circuit of the Northern Golf Club 
 and than settle down for a warming lunch at the local Pascoe Vale hotel an
 d then depending on the post prandial inertia that might have set in . mak
 e up the necessary distance by finishing off with a couple of Kms along th
 e Moonee Ponds Ck\, cross the infamous Cross Keys reserve and over to Stra
 thmore Station to return to Ess st or the city. Meet at Essendon St at 9.2
 5 for the 9.33 train for Pascoe Vale st where the walk commences. City wal
 kers this Craigieburn train departs at Flinders St at 9.12 for the train w
 e are aiming for. Naturally all flat\, comfortable walking shoes will be f
 ine\, rug up for the cold and prepare to let out the belt for lunch. Its s
 tandard pub fare \, but rather nice (Seniors specials are $10 and $13 to i
