SUMMARY:Quarry Hills. Sth Morang
DESCRIPTION:bunjil nganga Parkland (Quarry Hills) is a delightful area in S
outh Morang. It is an isolated range of granite and metamorphic rock\, clo
 se to suburbia\, which offers great walking.&nbsp\;
 Our walk will be 13
 to 14 kilometres.
Starting at an off road parking area at the Mill Park
Lakes Reserve\, we will follow tree lined streets north to an access to th
e Granite Hills section of the Park. From there we loop around to the Quar
ry Hills Range and walk south to the Foothills.&nbsp\; Another path then t
akes us around the wetlands to a cafe and from there it is approximately 2
  km to the cars.
The 360 degree views are amazing. All the mountain rang
es around Melbourne are visible and it is interesting to try and identify
local landmarks. However\, it is an exposed ridge and therefore can be ver
y windy and wet.&nbsp\; It is undulating at times but is it almost all on
good tracks. Overall it is a most rewarding walk.
 Meeting place: Melways
183 B6&nbsp\; There is off street parking on the south side of The Lakes
Bouvelard in Sth Morang\, near sporting facilities. Car pooling is possibl
 e from Pascoe Vale.
 Meeting Time:&nbsp\; 9.15 for a 9.30 start
 Toilets
: There are only bush toilets on the walk.&nbsp\; There is however a toile
t in the Coles complex in The Lakes Bouvelard\, just before our starting p
