DESCRIPTION:Our annual river \"cruise\" and day on Herring Island. This yea
 r we\,ll do the round trip and walk to the ferry landing along the Batman 
 Ave side of the Yarra River and return on the Alexandra Ave side. Lunch wi
 ll be on the island before we check out what Herring Island has to offer a
 long with the enviromental sculptures and the art gallery. Afterwards\, co
 ffee or cool drinks at Kanteen on the mainland near the ferry area. Sneake
 rs will be fine\, sun hat \, UV cream and water as per this time of the ye
 ar . If its warming up \, we can cut back to 9km or even back to 5km and i
 f its too\, too hot we\,ll postpone for later in the month. A lazy start\,
  meeting at the Flinders St coffee shops for a 10.15 departure.
