SUMMARY:Werribee South Triple Treat.
DESCRIPTION:This walk is a little bit ddifferent .Where else do you get to 
 walk on the beach with 40% of Vic vegies  growing across the road\, ( Even
  the 439 bus ride is an eye opener to the amount of vegies growing in the 
 area) 
   The first section is a 6-7 km walk along the newly widened beac
 h  and back on the path  going via the Wyndham harbour which seems to have
  modelled itself along the lines of Port Douglas with palm trees\, fancy d
 ecking etc and judging by the no of locals around  and the no of boats aro
 und \, it has become a favourite haunt for the locals.
   The next part o
 f the day includes bus-ing to the Weribee mansion for a quick lunch and a 
 look around the gardens and the rainbow chard parterre  beds  and hopefull
 y a detour through the Vic State Rose gardens will reward us with the firs
 t of the Springtime roses .
  Back to the bus stop to return to Werribee 
 proper and then a 5 min walk will take us over the footbridge to the newly
  upgraded ( $13 million) Wyndham Park which the Council have transformed i
 nto something rather special.
   Depending on the time \, the weather and
  our inclination the out and back walk to the harbour can be reduced to on
 e way and picking up the bus from another area.
   Werribee coffee shops 
 seem to close at 3pm so an afternoon drink can not be guaranteed.
