Event: Howman's Gap Base Camp.
Coordinator: Col Purchase.
Details: Combined Base Camp event with Diamond Valley, Koonung and Waverly bushwalking clubs in the Alpine region near Falls Creek.   Fully catered with bunk room accommodation for 5 nights.  Vatious walks for each day, and a themed NYE party for the final night.

Event: Marysville Summer Base Camp

Date: Sunday 27th to Friday 31st March 2023,
Event: Portland - Three Capes
Leader: Col Purchase.
Details:  Travel to Portland on Sunday the 26th of March for four days of walking a section of the Great South West Walk around Capes Bridgewater, Nelson and Grant; then return on Friday - or stay longer.  Distances will be 14 kms,15 kms, 13 kms and 15 kms respectively which will inlude walking tracks and along the beach at low tide.  Visitoing the Blow Holes, Petrified Forrest, Seal Colony, the lighthouse, the Pinnacles and Enchanted Forest; there will be several steep hills and undulations.  Details are attached, and book your own accommodation.  Col Purchase: This email address is being protected from spambots. Event: Grampians Peaks Challenge Stage 2.

Details: Continuing along the GPT with some steady climbs requiring good fitness level. Up to 18km per day. 
Not suitable for novice walkers. Staying at Halls Gap. Suggest you book Sunday to Thursday nights.
